While I am a fan of the video game covers that I find here and there, it’s really sweet to find someone that takes the music and makes it their own. And after listening to his Final Fantasy guitar music yesterday, I just couldn’t leave it at just that! So I ended up wandering into his user profile at Youtube and seeing what treasures he had hiding there… Lucky me, I found out he did a sweet rendition of Castlevania: SoTN. Enjoy!

Damn… that’s all I can really say about this masterful guitar remix of Force Your Way..and I believe at some point it’s mentioned that this is the Black Mage version of the song. Either way, this dude is completely badass…I mean a complete guitar badass. Just try to watch his fingers through some of it, I’m in complete fucking awe here.

You see lots of guitar and piano players on Youtube, but not nearly enough for the small ensemble groups that give woodwinds some love. And I’m all about woodwind love here (Clarinet player for 8 years, w00t), so here’s a rendition of The Legend of Zelda by this  awesome group.

This guy is set to be one of my newest favorite solo video game music performers on Youtube. This awesome electric guitar piece from Force Your Way, a Final Fantasy VII song, just rocks my socks!

Very cool stuff – this shows Idiego08 rocking out to The Tragic Prince from Castlevania, Symphony of the Night. This song definitely benefits from an electric guitar treatment.
